What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily unit operations and step in as acting leader when the Director or Manager is away.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead orientation and training for new staff, fostering a positive and skilled team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
  • Monitor patient care and guide staff in real-time adjustments to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care when needed, within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred.
  • PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.

Pay Transparency

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 to $55.70.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
