Certified Sterile Processing Tech - Days
Location: Evanston, IL
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays
Employment type: Full Time/Part Time, 40 hours per week
Hourly Pay Range: $20.69 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and expertise)
What You Will Do- Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
- Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup to ensure quality product for patient care.
- Follow established fireplaces to ensure decontamination completion.
- Place sterile items in Quandl areas for distribution, accurately labeling by department.
- Education – GED/High School Equivalent required.
- Certification – CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
- Experience – Two years of sterile processing or OR experience in surgical instrumentation preferred.
