Hourly Pay Range
$18.84 - $27.32 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Patient Care Technician – Antepartum Unit - Location:
Evanston, IL - Full Time/Part Time:
Full Time 32 hours /week - Hours:
including weekend rotation - Float:
Will float to all units throughout Evanston Hospital if needed
- Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care on the Antepartum unit.
- Assist with vital signs (manual BP), 12‑Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to rooms, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Assist with the implementation of a patient‑specific care plan.
- Participate in other activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit.
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience.
- Education:
Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred or at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred. - Certification:
Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association. If BLS certification is not current, it must be obtained within 90 days of hire. - Experience:
Inpatient PCT or maternal‑child health experience preferred. - Unique or Preferred
Skills:
Inpatient PCT or maternal‑child health experience preferred.
