As the Champ Camp Director at Kinder Care Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable experiences for kids while managing a dynamic team of counselors. When you become a part of the Champions team, you’ll be supporting hardworking families and inspiring elementary-aged kids during their out-of-school time. Whether you’re collaborating with school administrators or encouraging students to aim higher, you’ll lead the way toward inspired learning!

Your Responsibilities as a Camp Director:

  • Recruit and Lead: Build and supervise a passionate team of counselors to create unique and engaging camp experiences.
  • Business Management: Drive business decisions to improve revenue and enhance family retention.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure your camp operates effectively, maintaining high standards of health and safety for all campers and counselors.
  • Outdoor Enthusiasm: Promote a love for outdoor activities and foster a nature-oriented consciousness.
  • Parent Partnership: Collaborate with parents to provide the best care and experiences for their children.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with families, counselors, licensing authorities, and community partners.
  • Recruitment Efforts: Lead initiatives to enroll new families and children in our camps through engaging events.

Qualifications and Preferred

Skills:

  • 1 year of summer camp experience in a leadership role, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A genuine love for children and a passion for creating fun, engaging environments.
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Creative communication skills to share daily activities with families.
  • Experience in budget management and revenue generation is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with client partners.
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable in or around water, with knowledge of water safety.
  • Must meet state licensing requirements.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $55,300.00 - $75,000.00 .
