Job Summary
Assists site director with planning, implementing, and supervising a visual/performing arts camp for children, ages 3.5 to 12, in a day camp setting. The camps include instruction in two‑ and three‑dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video, and creative writing.
Responsibilities- Assist in training and supervision of camp staff
- Assist and collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
- Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
- Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe camp environment
- Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
- Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
- College degree or coursework in the arts, education or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with artists
- Must be able to physically keep up with children
- Responsible and reliable
- Prior camp experience and experience working with children
Camp season runs June 1 through August 9, 2026. Additional assignments may be required through October. You must be available for full weeks to work.
