Ornua is actively seeking a Senior Director of Market Insights & Analytics to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will build and lead a high‑performing team that shapes how our business sees the market, drives growth, and makes decisions, elevating our competitive advantage by translating consumer, category, and performance data into clear strategic direction. A key enabler of our highly ambitious growth strategy, the Senior Director of Market Insights & Analytics brings deep expertise in insights and advanced analytics—paired with strong cross‑functional influence to guide intelligent decisions across Marketing, Sales, Innovation, and Finance.
WHYTHIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
Serving as the enterprise hub for market intelligence, this role embeds analytics into brand strategy, innovation, planning, and commercial execution. The Senior Director will develop and lead a high‑performing team responsible for building next‑gen measurement tools, modernizing reporting, driving research programs, and leading forecasting and modeling that inform long‑range strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TOTHE ROLE
You will bring a highly visible, hands‑on leadership approach, partnering closely with senior executives to spot growth opportunities, refine strategic plans, and guide investment decisions in a fast‑moving, consumer‑focused environment. You excel at translating complex insights for VP and C‑suite stakeholders and driving alignment across teams. You also foster a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and data‑driven decision‑making that strengthens performance across the organization.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science or related field of study required; advanced degree such as MBA or relevant certifications strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across Insights, Analytics, Consumer Research, or Strategy in an FMCG company or agency.
- Proven experience leading teams and developing talent at a manager/director level.
- Significant hands‑on expertise with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, SPINS), measurement frameworks, forecasting models, and qual/quant methodologies.
- Strong ability to influence executive level decision makers and guide strategic discussions in a way that educates and informs.
- Ability to lift insights into compelling stories, taking complex information and translating into clear, persuasive recommendations.
- Experience implementing analytics transformation initiatives.
