The Early College High School program at Aims Community College is a partnership with Greeley District 6. The Early College High School program gives high school students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while subsequently earning an Associate of Arts degree. Occasional travel may be required.
Job Duties- Teaches assigned seminar classes.
- Creates and maintains a graded curriculum for classes that include brief assignments. Teaches lessons on College 101 skills, study skills, and soft skills. Monitors assigned seminar classes with the majority of class dedicated to structured study time.
- Communicates and collaborates with counselors, AIMS and D6 staff and faculty, and tutors to provide additional support for students. Maintains ongoing communication with students to provide necessary support for their classes.
- Monitors student academic performance and works one‑on‑one and with groups to create and support academic goals.
- Attends meetings and professional development opportunities at ECA and Aims.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
- Evidence of ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
- 9-12 Secondary teaching experience
- College teaching experience
- Experience with concurrent enrollment or dual enrollment programs
- Experience using technology in the classroom, or teaching online
