Position Overview
Eureka Middle School is seeking a band director/teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will display strong leadership, be passionate about band, and work well within a cohesive team.
Responsibilities- Direct grade-level bands for grades 5 through 8.
- Serve as Assistant Director for the high school marching band.
- Collaborate with the music department and other faculty.
- Strong instructional and leadership skills.
- Passion for band music.
- Ability to work with a cohesive team.
EMS serves approximately 500 students in grades 5-8 in the Congerville-Eureka-Goodfield school district, located 25 minutes from Bloomington/Normal and Peoria, Illinois.
