Role Description

The Community Facilitator is a full-time on-site role located in Eureka, CA. Responsibilities include supporting individuals in achieving personal goals, providing guidance toward greater independence, and fostering social inclusion within the community. Other tasks may include facilitating activities, maintaining progress notes, coordinating with other support team members, and promoting skill development. The facilitator will work directly with individuals to encourage their engagement and empowerment in a caring and respectful environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • Experience in community facilitation, counseling, or social work, with a focus on promoting personal development and independence
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to document and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to adapt to diverse environments and work collaboratively across teams
  • Knowledge or experience in working with individuals in developmental or social support programs is a plus
  • Commitment to principles of inclusion, equity, integrity, and compassion
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred
  • CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
