We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans find the merchandise they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Step in and support store leadership when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting with store operations
• Open and close the store as required, handling cash register duties and ensuring accurate transactions
• Assist with sales strategies, including promoting add-on sales and managing store KPIs such as UPT and ADT
• Help with store layout adjustments and merchandising
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ
• Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security
• Maintain organized stockrooms and store cleanliness
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader

• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operations
• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay range: $17 - $19.55 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
