Job Description:

The Labor & Delivery RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in active labor, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care. Responsibilities include managing high-risk OB cases, circulating during cesarean sections, administering medications (including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate), performing fetal monitoring, assisting in deliveries, and supporting new mothers with postpartum care and breastfeeding.
RNs work with a culturally diverse patient population and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, social services, radiology, and pharmacy.
