Description
Nurse Manager position located at St Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. Position available is Full Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.
Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Office, the Nurse Manager coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide professional patient care and services to a quality consistent with nursing and SJHS-HC standards and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of SJHS-HC. Assumes 24 hours responsibility for the management of patient care and services in the assigned areas and delegates authority, as appropriate.
Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative, and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem‑solving skills.

Required qualifications- Coursework/Training:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school or program. - Upon hire:
California Registered Nurse License. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. - 3 years Clinical experience as staff nurse in comparable acute care unit and facility.
- 3 years Health care managerial experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
