Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA is seeking a full‑time Nursing Assistant to work 12‑hour night shifts in the Progress Care Unit (PCU). Responsibilities- Assist with routine, direct bedside care of patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service.
- Perform personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, I/O, use of equipment, ADLs, and document on the medical record.
- Answer call lights and recognize/respond to emergency situations.
- Work under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or RN.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Nursing Assistant certification upon hire.
- Acute care or specialty experience.
Base pay range: $24.38 – $28.64 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
