Required Skills:

  • Valid and active California medical license
  • Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient experience in Hematology and Oncology
  • Proficiency in managing approximately 500 analytic cases annually within a COC-accredited program
  • Strong clinical skills with a clean medical file
  • Ability to efficiently complete all daily work within an 8-hour schedule
  • Excellent communication and response capabilities during on-call periods via phone only
  • Familiarity with hospital and clinic procedures and documentation
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with chemotherapy treatment centers
  • Prior work in large hospital settings or with specialized oncology programs
  • Knowledge of case log requirements for surgical specialties
  • Ability to explain gaps in employment exceeding 3 months
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Active California medical license
  • At least 2 years of relevant inpatient clinical activity in hematology and oncology
  • Certification in Oncology or Hematology, if applicable
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work 5 shifts per week, including scheduled call weeks
  • Availability to start as early as March 2026 with a clean file; sooner if all credentials are ready
  • Capable of handling scheduled patient visits and responding promptly to after-hours on-call calls (phone only, no onsite callbacks)
  • Must include current case logs upon application submission
