Patient Services Specialist - Admit and Registration at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Under the immediate direction of the Lead and Supervisor, the registration specialist is competent in insurance verification and performs specific routines, ensuring that each admission conforms to the defined policies and procedures. Registration Specialist is cross-trained to perform duties of PBX Operator and assists in deposit functions and incoming/outgoing mail. Interacts with infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an age appropriate manner

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
