Cardiovascular Technologist

Position Overview

Cardiovascular Technologist eph Hospital, Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 10‑hour, day shifts.

Under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist performs advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. He/she serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and medical staff. The technologist participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities and provides age‑appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Graduate of an ARRT program or equivalent education/experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

• Additional training in angiocardiography or equivalent education/experience.
• Advanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire.
• At least 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.

Pay Range: $50.54 - $64.68 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
