Description Mammography Technologist in Mammo OIC Unit at St Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis.
Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Qualifications- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year experience in Mammography.
- Experience with MQSA standards.

Additional InformationPosted are the minimum and maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
