Location: Eureka, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 – 17:30)
Job Responsibilities:Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established protocols.
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, including 3D mammography systems.
Assist with interventional breast procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection control standards, and PPE protocols.
Accurately document procedures and patient information using electronic charting systems.
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience.
Active ARRT certification.
ARRT Advanced Mammography certification.
Active California Mammography Technologist license.
Current BLS certification.
Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms.
Proficiency with 3D mammography technology.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with stereotactic biopsy procedures.
Experience using Hologic 3D mammography equipment and biopsy systems.
Strong knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.
