Client is seeking a certified CT Technologist to join the CT Imaging department in Eureka, CA
. Working under the direction of the department director and lead technologist, and in collaboration with radiologists, this position requires performing a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and age-specific criteria
. This is a hands‑on clinical role ideal for a technologist who is confident in high-volume environments and values patient interaction, technical accuracy, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures with a focus on image quality and patient safety.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality control checks, workflow improvements, and documentation.
  • Act as a technical resource to peers and medical staff.
  • Serve as a customer service liaison to patients, families, and providers.
  • Participate in the call rotation to ensure adequate departmental coverage.
Required Qualifications
  • ARRT – Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required upon hire
  • ARRT – CT (Computed Tomography) – Must be obtained within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the AMA
  • 5 years of experience as a primary technologist in a high-volume CT facility
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Holds ARRT Radiography certification at hire, and CT certification within 1 year
  • Strong experience in CT scanning protocols and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
  • Can function independently and as a part of a collaborative imaging team
  • Open to relocation to Eureka, CA, and willing to participate in call schedule
