MRI Technologist – Per Diem

Position Location:

St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka, CA. Work arrangement:
Per Diem, 12‑hour variable shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Manager, the MRI Technologist works with the Lead Technologist and Radiologists to perform magnetic resonance diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards. The role includes patient service, quality control, organizational improvement, and falls under the call schedule to meet departmental staffing needs.

• National Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (or equivalent registration).
• National Certified MRI Technologist – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• National Provider Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
• Five (5) years’ experience as a primary technologist in a high‑volume MRI facility.

Pay range: $50.54 to $64.68 per hour, plus additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
