Workingwith an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Project Delivery:
Coordinate and prepare documentation, including environmental impact analyses in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); environmental technical studies and reports; and federal, state, regional, and local agency regulatory permitting applications. - Data Collection and Analysis:
Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently. - Document Preparation:
Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports. - Personal Capability Building:
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, environmental science, planning, geography, public administration, or a related field.
- General
Experience:
3 to 6 years of experience in related field. - Technical expertise in planning, environmental planning, CEQA, NEPA, and/or environmental permitting.
- Knowledge of CEQA and NEPA compliance document preparation.
- Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations.
