Job Title: Neurosurgical Specialist - Exciting Locum Opportunity

Required Skills:

Active California Medical License and DEA registration
Fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification (temporary acceptable)
Board Certification or eligibility within 3-5 years of residency completion
Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in neurosurgery
At least 100 relevant cases in the past 24 months
Ability to perform complex spine procedures and manage intricate cases
Flexibility to work scheduled clinic and call hours, including night and weekend shifts
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:

Additional airway management training (not required)
Experience with complex spine and cranial procedures
Previous locum or temporary clinical work experience
Knowledge of hospital privileging and credentialing processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery
2+ years of recent hospital-based neurosurgical practice

Other Requirements:

Willingness to cover multiple dates including May 17-25, June 1-8, July 3-10, July 20-27, August 17-24, September 21-28, October 26-November 2, November 9-16, December 21-28, December 28-January 4, 2027, with potential for additional dates
Valid California licensure and ability to obtain temporary privileges swiftly
Must be able to work scheduled hours, covering both clinic and call duties from 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekdays, with night call responsibilities from 5 pm to 8:30 am, and weekend 24-hour call coverage
