Required Skills:

• Valid and active California medical license
• Minimum of 2 years current hospital-based clinical experience in Anesthesiology
• Current case logs demonstrating surgical procedures performed
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend, and overnight shifts, including holidays
• Knowledge of anesthesia protocols, documentation, and patient safety standards
• Ability to work over 12 hours and obtain pre-approval for overtime hours from the medical director

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Permanent California DEA license (preferred but not required)
• Experience with remote call coverage
• Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
• Bilingual capabilities to enhance patient communication

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• At least five shifts per month, with weekend and last-week availability
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital anesthesia settings

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to perform night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), weekend coverage, and on-call duties
• Participation in shift rotations, offering flexibility for varied hours
• Availability for all shifts (weekday, weekend, overnight) as per assignment needs
• Compliance with all hospital and licensing regulations
• Travel reimbursements apply for certain transportation needs, but mileage from home to airport and local taxis are not covered
