Position:
Emergency Medicine Physician (Permanent Night Shifts)
We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent position specializing in night shifts.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a stable, long-term career in a dynamic emergency department setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions.
- Triage patients efficiently, prioritize care, and manage patient flow during night shifts (hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, technicians, and other healthcare providers, to deliver seamless patient care.
- Make rapid, accurate clinical decisions and document patient encounters thoroughly.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and licensing regulations.
- Demonstrate supervision and leadership where required, mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Current valid medical license to practice medicine in California; candidates willing to obtain CA licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine, ideally in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle a diverse range of acute cases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
