Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, your role will include delivering top-notch, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state standards. In collaboration with the care team and medical providers, you will offer tailored, compassionate care following our nursing practices, ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess patients upon admission and during each shift, swiftly identifying and reporting any changes in their condition.
- Perform medical procedures, monitor patient responses, and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring for therapeutic effectiveness and addressing any unintended reactions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, proactively anticipating and addressing concerns.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, using clear and understandable language.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of starting.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate required within 60 days of starting.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
