Pediatric Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Supervisor
Join us at MEDICAL CITY DALLAS to supervise nursing operations in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
Position OverviewThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit functions. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care according to established policies and serves as a resource for staff.
ScheduleFull-Time Nights 7P-7A
Key Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS - Advanced)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BSN required
- Minimum 1 year Pediatric Emergency RN experience, including charge/leadership experience
