Looking Glass Community Services is hiring a Social Service Assistant to join our Regional Crisis Center Programs.
As the RCC Social Service Assistant, you will schedule, coordinate, and supervise group activities; maintain consistency and safety among clients; observe and record behavior patterns; aid in service planning; document necessary behaviors; help clients with skill‑building and daily household tasks; support crisis intervention and de‑escalation using training techniques.
Shift InformationFull‑time, overnight shifts from 10 pm to 8 am, four days per week.
Responsibilities- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise group activities at the RCC program.
- Maintain consistency and safety among clients; observe and record behavior patterns.
- Aid in service planning and document necessary behaviors.
- Help clients with skill‑building and directions for daily housekeeping duties, chores, physical activity, recreation, hygiene, and school work.
- Complete crisis intervention and de‑escalate clients daily utilizing crisis intervention techniques learned during training.
- Eligibility for QMHA certification preferred.
- Prior experience working with combative at‑risk youth, preferably in a residential setting, or experience in a challenging, high‑paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strong professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass crisis intervention training within first month of employment.
- Ability to perform specific manual restraints as specified by the state.

Salary: $29 per hour.
