Job Summary

Electric Utility Operations Coordinator – A high‑performing team member who coordinates electric operation staff, handles customer and contractor inquiries, and supports outage management and maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates, schedules, and dispatches electric operation staff.
  • Utilizes Outage Management System, High‑Volume Call‑taking System, GIS and system maps to facilitate power restoration.
  • Prioritizes, prepares and distributes daily work schedules for Troubleshooters, Service Crew and Field Technicians.
  • Assists supervisors, technicians and crew leaders in planning and coordinating maintenance and capital work.
  • Creates, calculates and prepares invoices for billable projects.
  • Responds to complaints or requests for service related to equipment, maintenance, policies/procedures and service‑area questions.
Location

This is an on‑site position.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off, 10‑hour shifts. Occasional unscheduled work to support emergency conditions, contingencies and responses.

Compensation & Benefits

The wage scale for the Utility Operations Coordinator is $76,898.87 to $92,649.24 annually, commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience. EWEB offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, vacation and sick leave, pension, holidays, and an employee credit union.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Equivalency: EWEB will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience when reviewing applications. Candidates who do not meet all of the minimum qualifications but whose application materials demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in utility/construction operations, engineering, or customer service.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent and two years of college or vocational training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience: Utility, construction trades, and/or electrical background.

  • Post‑offer physical / functional test required:
    No.
  • ICS 100 apprenticeship or training required within 90 days of hire.
