About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales to lead its expansion and market presence on the West Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and increase market share. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and the ability to think strategically about market positioning and pricing to drive sales growth.

The VP of Sales will be expected to proactively identify new business opportunities, stay abreast of industry trends, and champion self-generated sales initiatives. They will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and representing the company at industry events. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and be proficient in sales technology tools such as CRM systems and data analytics.

The role demands a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, who is willing to adapt to the dynamic nature of the SME environment and contribute to cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel frequently within the West Coast region and occasionally nationally, as required. A key aspect of the role is to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales function, optimize processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

The VP of Sales will also be responsible for preparing and presenting regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting required KPIs.
