Overview
At Gilead, we create a healthier world by developing therapies that improve lives. We are looking for a Passionate and Ambitious Senior Therapeutic Specialist to drive sales and build strong relationships across a broad geographic area.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and education.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan, monitor progress, and adjust strategies to exceed sales targets.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Gilead products, competitive products, and therapeutic area disease state.
- Partner effectively with local cross‑functional colleagues and external health organizations to enhance product reach.
- Model Gilead’s compliance standards, adhere to regulatory policies, and report adverse events.
- Leverage influencing skills to drive sales outcomes, build solid relationships, and perform administrative tasks.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Gilead’s products, competitive products, and the complexities associated with the therapeutic area’s disease state.
- Actively promote the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals, adhering to Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
- Partner with local cross‑functional colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations and partner companies to enhance product reach.
- Model and uphold Gilead's compliance standards and ethical behavior.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory agency, state, federal, and company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
- Build long‑term partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Report call activity, customer information, and territory budget in designated systems.
Actively contribute to Gilead's ongoing Inclusion & Diversity efforts.

- Minimum education and experience: (HH) High School + 11 years, (AA) Associate’s + 9 years, (BS) Bachelor’s + 7 years, (MS) Master’s + 5 years.
- Ability to travel within assigned area and comply with onsite visitation requirements.
- Valid driver’s license.
- BA or BS degree with 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives in specialty markets.
- Experience selling injectable physician‑administered products.
Base salary range: $ – $, with potential discretionary bonuses, stock‑based incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
