Where You Will Work: Eugene Downtown Branch, 545 E 8th Ave, Eugene, Oregon 97401. (Branches) Travel is required for this position.
Pay Range: The target annual pay range for this position is $76,859.00 to $96,073.50. The full annual pay range is $76,859.00 to $.
- We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
- Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job‑related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance‑based and targets vary by role.
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for driving sales performance, business development, and exceptional member experience within the branch all through the lens of growth. Owns branch‑level production results for membership growth, loans, deposits, and referrals while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Leads and coaches a high‑performing sales team, actively participates in outbound business development efforts, and builds strong community and business relationships to expand the Credit Union’s presence and market share.
Success in this role requires strong sales leadership, accountability, and the ability to consistently meet and exceed branch sales targets.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive overall branch sales performance, achieving goals for membership, loans, deposits, and product penetration.
- Develop and execute a strategic branch business and sales plan aligned with organizational growth priorities.
- Lead by example through direct participation in outbound calling, community engagement, and referral‑generation activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners to grow membership and lending opportunities.
- Champion consultative, needs‑based selling to increase wallet share and deliver tailored financial solutions.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high‑performing, sales‑driven team with a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular coaching focused on sales behaviors, outbound activity, pipeline management, and closing effectiveness.
- Monitor branch and individual performance using KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards; implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure exceptional member experience by balancing service quality, operational excellence, and sales performance.
- Maintain full compliance with credit union policies, operational controls, regulatory requirements, and BSA standards.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams—including operations, lending, and marketing—to deliver consistent and seamless member experiences.
- Use performance data, market insights, and financial results to adjust strategies, manage expenses, and ensure alignment with budget and growth targets.
- All other duties as assigned.
When You'll Be Working: Monday‑Friday: 8:45 am – 5:45 pm and rotating Saturdays: 9:15 am – 1:45 pm. Full‑time 40 hours a week.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in retail financial services.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading teams with direct responsibility for sales performance and growth.
