Overview

Overnight Inbound (Stocking) (T1405) rting hourly rate: $17.00 USD per hour.

All about Target and the General Merchandise team:
In this role you will support inbound, stocking, inventory, and guest service to ensure product is in stock, accurately priced, and presented on the sales floor.

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive Up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, including compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with them to solve needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Climb ladders; scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Capable of working in varied temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
