All about Style: a team of consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver through operations, guest experience and visual merchandising that inspires and builds the basket. A Style Consultant focuses on strong operations and an incredible guest experience, delivering in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. Style Consultants welcome and help guests on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, ensuring the floor is stocked with the right product, accurately priced and signed with the right sizes, styles and colors.

Target believes in meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. The role can provide you with the following experiences:

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies, and basic visual merchandising
• Industry trends including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
• Set, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed
• Set visual presentations & visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience
• Support price change processes and clearance merchandising with proper signing
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest services back to the sales floor
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely and report hazards per policies and training
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and comply with applicable laws
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and assist when needed
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• All other duties as needed by business

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)
• We provide training to learn role specifics; foundational skills include:

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
• Capability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Cash handling ability as needed
• Ability to climb ladders
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise, including lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
• Active mobility for the duration of a shift
