Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Join a respected local manufacturing company known for exceptional contract fabrication work as a Welder Fabricator in Eugene, Oregon. As a Welder Fabricator, you'll play a crucial role in performing MIG, Fluxcore, and occasional TIG welding while operating fabrication equipment and preparing metal components for assembly. This position offers a variety of hands-on tasks across diverse projects, making it an ideal opportunity for welders who thrive on varied responsibilities.

What You'll Do:
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing Hardwire/MIG welding and Fluxcore welding with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing occasional TIG welding to meet precise project specifications.
• Grinding and deburring metal parts using handheld tools and palm grinders to achieve a polished finish.
• Operating drill presses and press brakes to fabricate components to exact measurements.
• Efficiently removing parts from laser cutting machines and burn tables.
• Tack and spot welding components in preparation for final assembly.
• Reading and measuring accurately with tape measures to uphold high-quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment to ensure safety and maximize efficiency.
• Supporting production goals by consistently delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects.

What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Prior welding experience (required).
• Proficiency in MIG and Fluxcore welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Attention to detail coupled with strong fabrication skills that enhance the quality of your work.
• A dependable work ethic and reliable attendance to contribute to our collaborative team environment.
