Airgas is Hiring for a Plant Operator II in Eugene, OR!

******* We are looking for you!
**** Operate and monitor dry ice production equipment to meet daily volume targets, ensuring product quality and proper storage/packaging.
* Perform filling of compressed gas cylinders (high pressure and liquid) in accordance with established SOPs and production schedules.
* Connect and disconnect cylinders from manifolds; monitor pressure and weight to ensure accurate filling.
* Strictly adhere to all Airgas safety rules, OSHA regulations, and FDA guidelines (for medical gas handling).
* Conduct pre-fill inspections of cylinders for defects, requalification dates, and proper labeling.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards) to prevent hazards in the high-traffic palletizing zones.
* Accurately record production data, including lot numbers and fill quantities, into the plant inventory system.
* Perform quality control checks on finished dry ice and gas products prior to releasing them for shipping.##                         ##
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* We will train you if you are not forklift certified!
* Ability to work independently and in team environments.
* Must be able to work in a drug free workplace.
