The IT Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for defining, documenting, and improving business processes with a focus on ERP system configuration, integration, and user adoption. This position plays a critical role in ERP optimization and supports ongoing efforts to automate, streamline, and digitize key business operations. Involving deep collaboration with business stakeholders, system owners, and IT staff to align technology solutions with strategic and operational goals.
WHATYOU’LL OWN:
- ERP Process and System
- Collaborate with business leaders and process owners to map and document current-state workflows
- Lead discovery sessions to gather business requirements and pain points
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for ERP configuration
- Support ERP system testing, validation, and deployment planning
- Assist with ERP vendor coordination and integration design
- Design and support Power Automate and Power Apps solutions tied to business workflows
- Assist with development of reports and dashboards using Power BI, ERP, and other data reporting tools
- Identify and propose opportunities for automation and system integration
- Participate in IT and business team planning meetings, standups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate on ERP implementation timelines and testing milestones
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a business analyst, systems analyst or ERP analyst
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Exact Globe, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or Oracle)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
- Knowledge of SQL operations and programming concepts
- Understanding of integration points between ERP and other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of process mapping and functional documentation
- Strong critical thinking ability to navigate and solve complex problems
- Solid work ethic, self-starter, and result-oriented
- Natural ability to develop strong, trusting relationships
- Enjoys collaborating with cross-functional partners
- Responsible and a high degree of ownership
- Thrives in an ever-changing work environment
- Effectively managing a multitude of work responsibilities
