Are you looking to break into the world of Human Resources? We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our day-to-day HR operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR knowledge in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Location: Eugene, Oregon
Full-Time | Entry-Level | On-Site
Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 hourly

Job Duties
  • Assist with day‑to‑day operations and administrative support for the entire HR department, which includes the sub‑departments of Human Resources, Payroll and Recruiting.
  • Maintain employee records, files, and databases with accuracy.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR contact, organize, and update personnel documentation Assist with data entry and tracking in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with onboarding processes (pre‑employment screening process, pre‑hire documentation, onboarding checklists, and new hire anticipated tracker).
  • Participate in the execution of employee recognition efforts (anniversaries, birthdays, welcome gifts).
  • Organize and restock HR supplies (new hire folders, badges, company swag, etc.).
  • Assist with internal communications (HR announcements, survey reminders, event invites).
  • Assist and conduct departmental audits and document requests.
  • Shadow and learn from senior HR staff during employee relations, compliance, or recruiting/onboarding processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
  • Experience in recruiting or human resources is a PLUS.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a seated position for multiple hours at a time.
