Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for various speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
- Conduct bedside swallowing assessments and recommend dietary textures.
- Deliver direct therapy, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Supervise assistants and students, maintain compliance, and promote a supportive environment.
Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure in Oregon, preferred CCC-SLP certification, and experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing.
The role involves 10 hours weekly, including weekends.
