Position: Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor (NOC)

Overview

About this Position Lane County Behavioral Health - Mobile Crisis Service Team is looking for a dynamic individual to join our behavioral health leadership team as a Crisis Services Supervisor. This position provides oversight of services and support for the Mobile Crisis Service of Lane County program (MCS-LC) created to better serve individuals in behavioral health crisis across the county. The supervisor will participate in program development and maintenance and collaborate with community partners, primarily those in the law enforcement and emergency services systems.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate team meetings, supervise groups and individuals, and interact with individuals served.
  • Plan and/or supervise crisis-related behavioral health projects, document quality improvement, and lead program planning, policy, and workflow development for one or more programs.
  • Provide or arrange a work schedule for MCS-LC that ensures 24-hour/365-day crisis response in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Provide backup crisis intervention/crisis response as a member of the MCS-LC to maintain continuity of care levels.
  • Work with a team of supervisors and senior managers to support behavioral health initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • One of the following Oregon licenses:
    Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Four years of experience providing behavioral health services, including at least one year in a supervisory, management, or leadership role; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Preferred Experience s (not required)
  • Experience with crisis intervention, crisis triage centers, acute inpatient units, substance abuse treatment centers, or community outreach.
  • Experience overseeing and implementing treatment service delivery.
  • Experience coordinating with community partners (e.g., Mental Health Courts, state hospitals, jails, parole/probation, and correctional facilities).
  • Technical knowledge of behavioral health treatment systems and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience managing systems or organizational development and developing communication plans to maintain relationships with public and private entities.
  • Experience advancing health equity and collaborating with diverse, vulnerable, and underrepresented populations.
Special Requirements
  • Licensed in Oregon for one of the following:
    Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Oregon Driver's License.
  • NPI (National Provider Identifier).
  • Transcripts and Diploma.
  • CV or resume.
Schedule & Work Environment

Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. This program may include mandatory on-call, overtime, and/or non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays. This position involves community-based work and related travel for routine job tasks.
