Caregiver – Arcadia Senior Care (Eugene, Oregon)

Arcadia Senior Care is a warm, family-style Adult Foster Home in Eugene dedicated to providing exceptional, home-like care for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver who can provide both routine and high-level care, including safe mobility support and use of a Hoyer lift.

As a caregiver at Arcadia Senior Care, you will provide :

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
• High-level care and full assistance for residents who need more support
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance using a Hoyer lift
• Repositioning, support with ADLs, and monitoring for safety
• Medication administration
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Companionship and emotional support
• Clear communication and accurate documentation

You play a meaningful role in each resident’s daily life.

We are seeking someone who is :

• Kind, patient, dependable, and compassionate
• Comfortable performing physical caregiving tasks
• Able to lift, assist, and support residents safely
• Willing and able to use mobility equipment, including Hoyer lifts (training provided)
• A good communicator and respectful team member
• Organized, calm, and attentive to detail

Experience is helpful, but we train caregivers with the right heart and work ethic.

• Ability to lift 50lbs and safely assist residents
• Ability to perform repeated transfers and physical care tasks
• CPR / First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Food Handler’s card
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
