OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Service Assistant Supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of assigned shifts and the supervision of Social Service Assistants and of clients in the residential treatment program, Regional Crisis Center (RCC) East Campus.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field.
Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience working with teens and families; previous supervisory experience preferred.
Availability: Available shifts also include some on-call responsibilities;
Overnight Shift 10p-8a Tuesday - Friday.
Certifications/License: Valid Oregon Driver's license and insurable under agency's insurance. Ability to pass crisis intervention training which includes verbal and physical intervention principles. (See Looking Glass employment page for details.) Eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
In compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements, Looking Glass Human Resources Department conducts a background check on all new employees, non-paid staff (volunteers and interns), and existing staff as required. This is completed by the Background Check Unit with the State of Oregon per the Oregon Administrative Rules.
