Position Primary Purpose

The Integrated Co‑Occurring Disorders (ICOD) Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the ICOD Counselors, ensuring they conduct admission interviews, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans under ASAM standards. This role includes supervising day‑to‑day functions, facilitating group and individual counseling sessions, monitoring client progress, ensuring timely documentation, complying with state reporting mandates, and maintaining mandatory training and credential requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Provide counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, carrying a small caseload of clients.
  • Supervise ICOD Counselors, offering individual supervision on a scheduled and as‑needed basis, and participating in group clinical supervision.
  • Conduct admission interviews, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans under ASAM standards.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
  • Ensure timely completion and compliance of all required documentation, including clinical files, Service Plans, and Assessments within state timelines.
  • Interface with other programs, agency departments, outside systems, and funders to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Participate in grant and contract development, renewal processes, reporting, and compliance.
  • Attend relevant department and agency meetings.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with mandatory trainings and ensure staff compliance with credential requirements.
  • Engage in case management duties, including providing referrals and adhering to state‑mandated reporting requirements.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Competencies
  • Proficient in individual, couple, family, and group counseling.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria and individualized treatment planning.
  • Strong case management skills and adherence to state reporting requirements.
  • Attention to detail in administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with programs, departments, and funders.
  • Ability to ensure staff compliance with mandatory trainings and credential requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse and vulnerable populations.
Minimum Requirements And Education
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid and current LCSW, with a minimum of two (2) years of licensure.
  • CADC II/III certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a Co‑Occurring setting (SUDs and Mental Health).
  • Competence in substance abuse and mental health treatment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of abstinence from all psychoactive substances for individuals with a history of substance abuse.
  • Ongoing education and training relevant to the job position.
Compensation

This position is a salaried, exempt position with a comprehensive benefit package. A $3,000 signing bonus is paid after 60 days of employment. This position qualifies for loan forgiveness programs.
