Ranging from $17/hr - $24/hr depending on Experience

• Introduction to Relief Printmaking (Linocut and Woodblock)
• Introduction to Intaglio (Etching and Drypoint)
• Introduction to Screen Printing
• Specialty Weekend Workshops (Unique or Advanced Techniques)

We offer a variety of printmaking in our studio. As an instructor, you would guide participants through ideation, printmaking techniques, problem solving, and critiques. Our studio is equipped to host Workshops in:
Relief Printing, Intaglio, Monotype, Letterpress, Lithography, and Screen Printing.

This is not a full-time staff position. Classes will be quarterly and span 8 weeks with one instructed session each week. Days of the week are flexible around instructors' schedules, but there are specific times and dates that we recommend for classes.

Workshops range from 1-3 days on the weekend and focus on unique or advanced techniques. Longer workshops can be arranged if needed depending on the technique and requirements for specific processes.

Note:

Classes are held in-person at Whiteaker Print makers Studio in Eugene, Oregon. Instructors must be in the area or able to commute for classes.

• 1+ years of experience in printmaking- this can include personal practice, professional work, or educational experience.
• Experience using equipment and tools properly
• Ability to teach in-person classes at Whiteaker Print makers Eugene, Oregon
• Relief techniques
  
  Required:
  
  Woodcut, Linocut, Multiple Block Registration, Editioning
• Etching techniques
  
  Required:
  
  Copper Plate etching, drypoint, Spray paint aquatints

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior teaching experience
