Job Title:

Construction Manager

Job Description

Manage the full construction lifecycle from mobilization through final closeout, ensuring project success and client satisfaction. Oversee daily onsite construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and managing deliveries to maintain project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and control the construction schedule with monthly updates to the critical path schedule in MS Project.

* Forecast construction budgets, identify cost risks, and manage change orders and CO logs.

* Manage site logistics, general conditions, equipment rentals, and site services.

* Enforce site-specific safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance.

* Manage safety documentation, SDS records, inspections, and corrective actions using Procore.

* Conduct regular safety reviews and ensure OSHA compliance with a minimum OSHA 30.

* Handle RFIs, submittals, daily logs, inspections, permits, and closeout documentation using Procore.

* Coordinate AHJ, third-party, and special inspections, including compliance with Oregon state requirements.

* Ensure QA/QC standards and trade-specific deliverables are met.

* Lead weekly construction and stakeholder meetings, distributing detailed meeting minutes.

* Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.

* Provide daily and weekly progress reports, identifying installation deficiencies and corrective actions.

* Motivate and manage construction crews to meet safety, schedule, and quality objectives.

* Manage project turnover, including commissioning support, documentation completion, and acceptance.

* Ensure all closeout requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Skills

* Experience with construction, change order management, Procore, MEP, P&, and subcontractor management.

* Proficiency in construction scheduling, Procore, and Microsoft Project.

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.

* PMP, CPM, or similar certifications preferred.

* Minimum 7 years of project or construction management experience.

* Proven success managing multimillion-dollar MEP renovations or new builds.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience managing complex industrial or central plant systems with preferred exposure to MEP projects $5M+.

* Working knowledge of P&IDs, hazardous area classifications, and industrial processes preferred.

* Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite at a public-sector Central Plant renovation project in Eugene, OR. The work environment involves overseeing construction activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing project logistics to ensure successful project completion.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Eugene, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
