Senior Accountant

Description

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant with a strong background in ERP systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, performing reconciliations, and driving enhancements to financial procedures. Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations

+ Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Lead internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance with regulations

+ Work closely with the Financial Controller to facilitate smooth audit processes

+ Take part in the budgeting process for various departments and projects

+ Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures

+ Become the in-house expert on our ERP system, addressing issues and identifying opportunities for improvement

+ Provide training to staff on ERP system usage as needed

+ Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline

+ Hands-on experience with ERP systems is required

+ Strong understanding of core accounting principles and processes

+ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy

+ Excellent numeracy and financial acumen

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines under pressure

+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software

+ Solid grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

+ Exceptional communication skills
