As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and incidents.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, corridors, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks when assigned, and support staff with way finding and general assistance.

+ Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.

* + Hospital site requires vaccines.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
