- Salary range begins at $32,743 annually
- Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
- Provide support services to clients and their families or employers, individually and in groups including job coaching as appropriate.
- Provide referral and follow up services to appropriate programs as needed.
- Make visits to clients and their families at their work sites/home/school as appropriate.
- Act as an advocate to programs and clients.
- Plan, implement, and facilitate program activities.
- Exemplify positive role modeling by professionalism, language, work ethic, and positive communication.
- Complete and maintain appropriate documentation and paperwork as required.
- Set goals and direction for the program participants.
- Work with other social service agencies, schools, community colleges, businesses, churches and employers to develop additional resources and/or work experience/job placements for program participants.
- Prepare group report forms and maintain confidential records on clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
- Combination of education and experience normally represented by a High School diploma or equivalent plus college coursework and/or technical experience.
- One to two years of related experience required.
- Experience working with seniors preferred.
- Must have good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with senior adults.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to form good working relationships with various resources.
- Knowledge of relevant community resources preferred.
- Must have valid Ohio Drivers License and reliable means of transportation for local travel.
- Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted to complete background check.
