Description

The Linehaul Driver, Pickup & Delivery drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Responsibilities

Drive to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements.

Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch

Pick up, deliver, and load/unload freight at customer locations

Scan freight upon pickup and delivery

Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer – 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)

Experience

Valid Driver's License:
Class AZ/Class 1 for 1+ years

1 + year of AZ/Class 1 driving experience

Clean Driving Record (please upload a current driver's abstract and CVOR with your resume)

Must successfully pass road test(s)

Must successfully pass the Linehaul Finishing Program

Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.

Ability to read maps;
Good sense of geographical direction, GPS Tracking
