Forklift Driver

Job description

Hire Art is helping Res Med hire a Forklift Driver to be responsible for transporting materials, tools, equipment, and products by operating motorized and non-motorized equipment.

Available

Shift:
1st shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM ($19.50/hr)

As a Forklift Driver you'll:

Compare identifying information and counts items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.

Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Operate equipment to place palletized materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items.

Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Mark materials with identifying information.

Open boxes, creates, and other containers and prepares parcels for shipping.

Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Maintain inventory records.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

6+ months experience with a Raymond 7500 stand-up reach forklift

Comfortable being on feet for the majority on the scheduled work shift

Steel-toe shoes are required starting on Day 1

Able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Possess a customer-centric commitment to build and maintain customer relationships

Display energetic, self-motivated and quick thinking with positive attitude

Flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed

Ability to walk and occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 40lbs

Commitment:This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. This position will be onsite and available to candidates local to Moreno Valley, CA.
