We are looking for mobile unit mechanics to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep our customers on the road.

Based at the Etobicoke Service Center, the mobile mechanic is responsible for service requests that must be made outside the center, directly in the yards of transport companies. They must possess the professional qualities and skills necessary to perform the requested repairs or maintenance. The mobile mechanic will have a mobile unit containing all the tools they may need.

The mobile mechanic is responsible for:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing trailers.
• Installing and repairing all types of air systems.
• Assembling and repairing all types and brands of suspensions and axles.
• Repairing general mechanical components such as brakes and hitch assemblies.
• Repairing and replacing structural elements such as floors, walls, doors, and roofs.
• Installing and repairing all types of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Any other related tasks may also be assigned.

• Licensed 310J, combined with (5) years of work experience,
• Be able to carry out all mechanical repairs (axles, brakes, electrical systems, air systems, etc.) as well as structural repairs to the various components (floors, walls, doors, etc.) on all makes and semi-trailer models,
• Must be able to weld in all positions,
• Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions,
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record and a valid G license.

• Day shift

• Salary between $33.53 and $43.55/hour
